Calling all Artists in the Chesapeake Watershed !
We need your help!
Please submit an original design to help educate residents of York, PA, about storm water pollution.
The top three artists will be awarded cash prizes and their artwork will be showcased on storm drains in the city.

Submission Guidelines
Submissions are due by Saturday, May 1, 2027.
Judges will use this rubric.
Competition is open to all artists age 14 and older.
Artists must state which drain they would like to paint.
Artists may submit up to three drawings.
Art must be on the sidewalk around the storm drain; no art should be painted on the street or curb.
Winners must be able to physically create the artwork at their specified drain locations in York, PA.
Details
Winners' biographies will be featured on the web page.
Paint will be provided; artists must supply their own brushes.
Participants must follow the Rules from the City of York.
Prizes
1st place $500 - 2nd place $400 - 3rd place $300
Judging
Best creative and impactful use of storm drain within the art work.
A panel of local artists and community leaders will select the winning artists using this rubric.
